Work Services and Prevocational Services
WESCO offers a variety of jobs through our work services program for individuals with disabilities. This service focuses on developing work skills by performing job tasks for contracted work. WESCO contracted work includes but is not limited to:
- Janitorial services
- Food preparation and serving
- Can and bottle sorting and counting
This broad array of jobs for individuals with disabilities allows them to learn a variety of different skills that they could later use in community employment. It also gives them a greater opportunity to obtain specific job skills that are needed by employers in the Denison community.
Supported Employment is a combination of community employment and ongoing support. Individuals with disabilities are engaged in paid work in an area business while receiving intensive training and ongoing support from WESCO.
School to Work
WESCO serves students from various school districts. These students may continue their education while learning work skills through WESCO's programs.
