Residential Care Facility for Individuals w/Mental
Retardation
WESCO provides services for 13 individuals in an RCF/MR facility located in Denison. This
facility is licensed through the Department of Inspections and Appeals. Services encompass complete room and board as
well as daily living skills. Emphasis is placed on teaching a variety of life
skills depending on the needs of each individual, as well as providing training to
assist residents in reaching their potential to become as independent as possible.

Non 24 hour Supported Community Living
This service is designed to teach and assist individuals with strong desire to be independent and who require minimal
support. These individuals live in their own apartments or homes throughout the community. WESCO assists these individuals with
banking/budgeting, and
grocery shopping, as well as instructing and teaching them to utilize other natural supports in the community.

24 Hour Supported Community Living
This service is designed to give individuals
a stronger level of independence even though they require a higher level of
supervision. These individuals often live in a home with three or four other individuals.
Most times they rent their home from a landlord in the community. WESCO provides staff assistance for all aspects
of residential life including, but not limited to banking, cooking, shopping, support with
health care, transportation, recreation, etc.
